  Natasia has been involved in the family business since the inception of the Afterburner technology. While gaining international experience as an executive assistant, Natasia also has received her Associate of Arts degree from the University of Hawaii, and continues her commitment towards an M.B.A. Coming from a long lineage of entrepreneurs; Natasia has the dedication to take Afterburner Fitness to the next level, and then some.

  Mike is an Engineering Technologist with more than 20 years experience. He specializes in automation, complex machines, gas turbines and generator controls and is also a co-inventor of Afterburner Technology. He has been retained exclusively by Rolls-Royce Energy Systems for more than 10 years on international projects for the installation and start up of large power and heavy industrial process controls and automation. Mike is also an Associate Member of the Ontario Association of Engineering Technicians and Technologist. Mike’s uncompromising commitment as a co-inventor and shareholder of Afterburner fitness continues to lead this business on the road to success.



 

Tom Grochmal

Thomas is an Electrical Design and Controls Engineer for Spectra Energy, a North American natural gas infrastructure company. He obtained his doctorate in systems and controls engineering from the University of Alberta and has extensive experience in the design of mechatronic systems. He is formerly the captain of the University of Toronto Men's basketball team, and is on the board of his family-owned HVAC company, AtlasCare (Toronto, ON). As an athlete and a scientist, Thomas is a great asset to the Afterburner team.

Craig Pearce is Electrical Engineering technologist with 6+ years of experience in technical sales/support for Rockwell Automation’s efforts in Ontario, Canada. He brings to the Afterburner team a proven track record of sales growth working with some of Canada’s largest industrial players, a technical knowledge of machine controls as well as a passion for personal fitness and this project.

As well as being an athlete his whole life, Zach has always had an interest in the Health Sciences. He has studied extensively Anatomy Physiology and Kinesiology. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, he has specialized in Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Therapy Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue Massage, as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine.



 

Alex Ross

Alex practices all areas of intellectual property law, in particular patent drafting and prosecution, preparation of patent infringement and validity opinions, and advising on patent strategy, with a focus on mechanical devices and computer and information technology. Alex is recognized academic achievements, received an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2003. Alex also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto. Alex has also worked as an in-house intellectual property lawyer at the Canadian subsidiary of a major international technology company.

 
 

Thomas K. Hunter

Tom received his law degree from the University of Western Ontario and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1988. He also holds an honours degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. A partner with Gowlings since 1995, Mr. Hunter practices in the area of corporate, commercial and technology law and serves as a Co-Leader of the Firm's National Technology Law Practice Group. His particular areas of focus include assisting entrepreneurs with startup and growth oriented companies, mergers, acquisitions, and all aspects of equity and debt financing. Mr. Hunter was lead Counsel in the creation of PixStream Incorporated in 1996 and led the divestiture transaction of PixStream to Cisco in 2000 for a sale price of $550 million Cdn. Mr. Hunter has served as lead counsel for over $1 billion of profitable exits for high-tech clients
